THE SOLUTION

Maveneer collaborated with 1-800-Flowers to design and implement a tailored fulfillment automation system.

SKU Slotting Optimization: Maveneer conducted an in-depth analysis of inventory flow, reorganizing SKUs to optimize picking paths and reduce order processing time.

 Mezzanine and Pick Modules: A mezzanine and multi-level pick modules were constructed to maximize vertical space and streamline access to high-turnover inventory.

Conveyor Integration: A conveyor system, including a high-speed “Panda Line,” was implemented to connect pick zones and transport totes efficiently, reducing manual labor and enhancing productivity.

Print-and-Apply Labeling: Automated print-and-apply labeling systems were installed to enhance efficiency in labeling totes and packages, ensuring accuracy and consistency in outbound shipments.

Streamlined Packing Stations: Packing stations were optimized with automation to handle the unique requirements of floral arrangements and fragile items, ensuring quality and presentation.
